Crypto as Alternative investment

 

There has been a lot of controversy in crypto currencies.  Lots of coins have come and gone.  We believe its time for the next stage.  I believe Crypto should be used like venture capital along with innovation that is taking place.  That's why we started Powcoin.  Our team wanted to create a crypto that can be used as an alternative investment with useful Proof of Work, since most cryptos like Bitcoin  Litecoin do not store any value.

 

Other than the natural value of the disruptive technology that crypto brings to the table. As we said before 1% of POW will be exchangable for no less than 1 ounce of silver.  This will now apply to Powcounter on an as needed basis, in order to reduce volatility if and when it occurs.  Another reason is to  protect value for as Bitcoin and crypto begin to merge into the mainstream it is important to protect purchasing power or the whole thesis of the disruption will have a negative side that curves the risk reward scale of crypto. For example,  If Bitcoin rises 50% its irrelevant if the USD falls +25% in that time period. By allowing Powcounter to be exchanged for silver removes some of the peg to BTC and creates an alternative investment related to silver.

Also a useful PoW thanks to the brilliant people at FoldingCoin Inc. say that the future of crypto involves the most efficient use security and distribution as possible. The OG scrypt powcoin will be more focused on comic merchants and special exchanges and increasing the  Foldingcoin/Powcoin familys presence on social networks. The original analog powcoin also will be used for experimenting with ideas that may be implented in different mediums.   Powcoin & Powcounter are ready to approach the future no matter what format of crypto will take us the furthest in the exciting future of decentralized everything.
